Verdict
This is a great movie about journalism and history. A remake would want to add action, but this is great as is.
Watch it.

Review:
I know about Watergate, but I didn't know about the reporters who broke the story. From the start the movie pulls you in, depicting the Watergate break-in.
Woodward and Bernstein relentlessly pursue the story. It's all the more amazing because it's true. Redford and Hoffman do a great job. It's not a movie about characters or development. It's a revelation of truth, piece by piece. It's also a great look at journalism. There is a difference between a reporter and a journalist.
The shameful fact is this movie would not be made today, because it lacks car chases, explosions, and drama for plot convenience.
