Netflix Originals Releasing This Week

Designated Survivor: 60 Days Season 1 (July 1)
Netflix Distributed Korean Series w/ eOne
Follows the main storyline of the original Designated Survivor, but has been adapted to feature more of the Korean reality. It is a story of a politician, who suddenly ascends from the position of Minister of Environment to President, as an explosion at the National Assembly kills everyone in the Cabinet who is ahead of him in terms of the presidential succession.

Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room (July 1)

Netflix Comedy Special

Katherine Ryan will bring her acclaimed, sold out 2018 UK tour show Glitter Room to Netflix for an hour-long stand-up comedy special after an unprecedented four week run at London's Garrick Theater in the West End.The special tapes on December 11, 2018 at The Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. This is Ryan's second Netflix stand-up special, following 2017's Katherine Ryan: In Trouble .

In Bangkok's Chinatown, a spirited digital marketing expert falls for a blind fortune-teller, but their love is predestined to end in disaster.

The Last Czars Series 1 (July 3)

Netflix Original Series - 6 episodes

Originally scheduled for 2018. This follows the fall of the Russian Imperial Romanov family, run by Tsar Nicholas II, who were killed in 1918 following the Revolution. It will be a mix of documentary and reconstruction.
This is Netflix's second venture with Nutopia, the first, a 12 part series titled Babies.

All four women are pregnant and are apprehensive and excited about the upcoming births. But these are no ordinary women. Follow rich and glamorous women who have got it all: cars, money, the perfect life. They're also pregnant, but they can't let that diminish their glamour.

Stranger Things Season 3 (July 4)

Netflix Original Series

Season one is set in 1983 where a mother tries to find her son after he disappears mysteriously in the small town of Hawkins.
Season 2 is set one year later, and is more of a sequel than continuation. A new monster emerges from the upside down to wreak havoc in Hawkins.
The season 3 story line has been locked. Will Byers will get a break, a new evil emerges, and there will be more Dustin-Steve.
Cary Elwes and Jake Busey are cast for season 3. It was reported on November 18 that Kali (Eight) is likely to return to Season 3 to resolve her story line.
