Artists like Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt are playing the main role. The film was conceived about fifteen years ago by Jawahar and his father Yash Johar. For the film, the first actress Sridevi was signed, but for some reason, Madhuri Dixit was signed for this role.
