Some Catholic pop culture for those of you out there not yet counting gray hairs. The Flying Nun was an actual TV sitcom starring future Academy Award winner Sally Field (yes, The Amazing Spider-Man’s Aunt May). It was a modest hit, running for three seasons on ABC in the late 60s.
