So I had wanted to write this fantastic post on Frances Marion but when the documentary you watched isn't on Youtube and the library takes forever to get a book in for you it makes things difficult.
The documentary I watched on TCM was Without Lying Down: Frances Marion and the Powerful Women of Hollywood. It was an excellent documentary and I took some notes but not enough to write a good post on. However, it does air again on TCM on Oct. 1, 1:45am EST and I cannot recommend it enough! Everyone participating in the Anti-Damsel Blogathon should write it in on their calendars or set a reminder on their phones.
Frances Marion was an extraordinary women and more people need to know about her. Below I've included a list of books and links to Amazon. I wish I could afford to buy them or that my library had them in their collection. Also, here is a link to a brief bio about her. Here is a great article.
