Review
After Saw VI, Saw 3d was meant to be the final film, but for whatever reason this was made. I don't know why I even watched this. I have seen a Saw movie since the second which lost all nuance of the first. I knew this wouldn't and apparently can't recapture what made the original so good. Why did I watch?

This movie is less about the game and more about gore. It's got a twisting plot, but it ends up being boring as gruesome deaths are all it has. It's basically a murder mystery with a lot of junk thrown in. There's extreme torture, a medical examiner with a Jigsaw fascination, and a dirty cop. The reveals the movie forces just aren't that interesting with some more contrived than others.
