2015 Guldbagge Awards Winners

Yesterday they had the Awards Ceremony and had the opportunity to see a few minutes but unfortunately had to stop watching. Nevertheless what I saw was really refreshing and very different to what we usually see as cinema shows or awards ceremonies.

Force Majeure swept the awards with 6 wins, including Best Film and Roy Andersson's film got only one. Liv Ullman who last week was presented with an Honorary Dragon Award at the Göteborg International Film Festival was the recipient of the 2015 Swedish Lifetime Achievement Award.

Winners are in *BLUE.

To read nominees in other categories go official site here. Most interesting is the movie Something Must Break as the nominated actress plays a dual role (male/female) and story which I imagine has to have a very Scandinavian style could be good. Seems that will have to check Gentlemen by Mikael Marcimain (remember Call Girl) which is another period drama from Stockholm in the '70s.

Awards ceremony hosted by Petra Mede will be on January 26 at Cirkus arena in Stockholm with SVT broadcasting the ceremony live and as in previous years there will be a live streaming.
