Plot
First Day of Camp continued the movie, with the actors too old to reprise their roles, the series made a prequel to drive the joke home.
In this season, the former camp counselors return to catch up on life. Most of the original cast returned except for Bradley Cooper.

Verdict
If you liked the movie or First Day of Camp, you're going to like this. Just as absurd, it often approaches soap opera levels of theatrics and then goes even further. The show is completely away for how silly and over the top it gets and fully embraces it.
Watch it.

Review
I've only gotten half way through the season, but it feels a lot like First Day of Camp. Check out my review of the previous season.  I'm sure the last couple of episodes will hold big absurd surprises. With both seasons, the show isn't afraid to poke fun at its own constructs. One of the best jokes First Day of Camp pulled off was making it a prequel when the cast was already fourteen years older. It's such a ridiculous premise from the start, and I wish Ten Years Later had a similar underpinning.

The show is completely self aware. With Adam Scott replacing Bradley Cooper's character, he asks in the first episode if anyone will recognize him after his nose job. While this still skewers pop culture, it's lost a bit of its edge as we're focused on life as a young adult instead of teenage antics. We still get Chris Meloni fighting a can of corn, but this season feels dialed back. While that might parallel the journey of these characters, that's not what I want from this show.

It's hard not to compare Ten Years Later to it's predecessor which is on a higher level, that doesn't make this iteration bad. It's still a lot of fun. With that said, it feels like a logical place to end this continuation.
