The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (November 16)

Netflix Original Movie
I'm a big fan of Joel & Ethan Coen, so I can't wait to see the anthology Western series they wrote and directed. Each chapter will feature a distinct story about the American West.

1983 Season 1 (November 30)

Netflix Original Polish Language Series - 8 episodes

I love this concept and I like things set in the Cold War. This has huge potential. This alternative history Cold War spy thriller is set in a world where the Iron Curtain never fell. In 2003, twenty years after a devastating terrorist attack that halted the race of the Soviet Union and marked their downfall, an idealistic law student and a disgraced police investigator stumble upon a conspiracy that has kept the Iron Curtain standing and Poland living under a repressive police state.

The Other Side of the Wind (November 2)

Netflix Original Movie

This film within a film was left unfinished n 1985 when Orson Welles died. I'm concerned about how it will fare without Welles, but it's something I have to see based on pedigree alone.
In the movie, a non-conformist director staging a comeback dies shortly after his party. Clips of the directors latest movie are interspersed throughout.

Outlaw King (November 9)

Netflix Original Movie

I'm hoping for something along the lines of Braveheart, this has all the potential to do that. Robert the Bruce cast aside his comfortable upbringing to defy the Brits and the Catholic Church, ruthlessly consolidating rule among the squabbling noble elite of Scotland, turning back Edward II's armies to free Scotland.

Narcos: Mexico Season 1 (November 16)

Netflix Original Series

It's Narcos. I liked the first two seasons, I expect more of the same. Originally presented as season 4 of Narcos, it's now a spin off series moving to Guadalajara, Mexico. Witness the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Felix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the helm to build an empire.

House of Cards Season 6 (November 2)

Netflix Original Series - 8 episodes - Final Season

Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright play political savages Frank and Claire Underwood. They have maneuvered Frank from Senator to President, and the next step is securing the party's nomination for president to stay in the White House. It's felt like the show needed to end, so I have to watch the final season. I'm sure Wright is going to impress as the lead.

The Kominsky Method Season 1 (November 16)

Netflix Original Series - 10 episodes

Starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, this comedy follows Hollywood acting coach Sandy Kominsky and his friend and agent Norman. Sandy starts a relationship with Lisa who is not the typical acting student, fifty with an 18 year old. Douglas on a series? I've got to check it out.

Netflix Original Movie

Kurt Russell will play Santa Clause. That's all it takes. I watch anything with Kurt Russell. I know this won't be good, so maybe I'll be surprised.
