70th Annual EDDIE Award Nominations

A few minutes ago the American Cinema Editors (ACE) announced the awards that recognize outstanding editing in eleven categories of film, television and documentaries.

For the first time in ACE's 70-year history, three foreign language films are among the nominees including The Farewell, I Lost My Body and Parasite, despite there not being a specific category for films predominantly in a foreign language.

Winners will be revealed during ACE's annual ceremony on Friday, January 17 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, ceremony is presided by ACE President, Stephen Rivkin.

These are the nominees.

Tom Eagles for Jojo Rabbit
Bob Ducsay for Knives Out
Fred Raskin for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood

Best Edited Animated Feature Film
Jeff Draheim for Frozen II
Benjamin Massoubre for I Lost My Body
Axel Geddes for Toy Story 4

Best Edited Documentary Feature
Lindsay Utz for American Factory
Todd Douglas Miller for Apollo 11
Jake Pushinsky and Heidi Scharfe for Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice
David J. Turner and Thomas G. Miller for Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound

Best Edited Documentary Non-Theatrical
James Cude for Abducted in Plain Sight
Dava Whisenant for Bathubs Over Broadway
Jules Cornell for Leaving Neverland
Jake Pushinsky for What's My Name: Muhammad Ali
