Native 3D Is Calling MAD MAX: FURY ROAD!!

George Miller's MAD MAX sequel will be in native 3D folks. Miller himself told insidefilm: “We are doing 3D on Fury Road – we are shooting with real 3D cameras."

The $100m+ production is apparently using new 3D technology developed by Dalsa Corporation (almost sold to ARRI last year) and 3D rigs and cameras designed by Miller himself.

Miller: “We are doing 3D on FURY ROAD – we are shooting with real 3D cameras. Seven years ago we were going to shoot in 3D but the technology in cinemas wasn’t geared for it then but I always loved 3D or stereo.”

WETA is confirmed to be working on FURY ROAD's conceptual design, specialty make-up FX, costume and dummies.

According to slashfilm, there is a report in The Australian claiming that there may be a decision to make two films instead of one resulting in pushing back the shoot to February. According to the report, cast, crew, agents and film service companies are awaiting official confirmation this week.

Miller seems fully invested in 3D now as he is also working on the animation HAPPY FEET 2 in 3D.
I am dying to hear more on these Mad Max features! All the power to him... although I do think bringing Mel Gibson back is a BAD idea.
