Season 5 (2018)

Four years after season 4 and 7 years after the show's original run, the principal cast returns. Jason Bateman, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Portia de Rossi, David Cross and Alia Shawkat have signed on. Hurwitz had originally conceived of season 5 as a serialized murder mystery like Making a Murderer.
One of the complaints of season 4 was the disjointed structure. Actors weren't available simultaneously, so many episodes were self-contained and not chronological. It was rumored for years, Mitch Hurwitz was editing a streamlined chronological version, but that version has yet to be seen.
With that being a complaint, and Hurwitz all but acknowledging it with his rumored edit, I hope season 5 doesn't make the same mistake.
