Polish Author Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy series of short stories and novels about the witcher Geralt of Rivia.will be developed into an English language drama series.

Known as the Witcher Saga, Sapkowski's eight novels and story collections center on "witchers," hunters who develop supernatural abilities at a young age to battle deadly monsters. 
The New York Times bestselling books have developed a cult following and have been translated into over 20 languages. A major video game franchise trilogy has been developed by CD Projeckt RED, and a Polish movie and television series were loosely adopted from the stories in 2001 and 2002, known as The Hexer.

Sapkowski is thrilled Netflix is adapting his stories he's written over thirty years. He will serve as creative consultant.
