In the city of Fuyuki, seven magi and their Heroic Spirits once clashed in a Holy Grail War. Amid the chaos of the war, a mage made off with the Grail. Decades later, the Yggdmillennia clan of Romania possess the Grail and secede from the Mage’s Association. Angered by the move, the Association sends assassins after them, only to have them wiped out by a Yggdmillennia Servant.
This sparks a new Holy Grail War of unprecedented scale with two factions of seven Servants.
