New & Leaving Netflix US Full List for December

Netflix has a lot of new content for December, listed first is what I plan on checking out.

Dark Season 1 (December 1)

Netflix Original German Language Series - 10 episodes
The first German Netflix series is a family mystery saga with a supernatural twist that takes the story back to 1986. Two missing children connect four families as they search for the kids in the present day.
The question isn't who kidnapped the children, but when. The years 2019, 1986, and 1953 are somehow linked. Creators are Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (December 5))

This has become the summer blockbuster, no longer is it traditional one man army action movies, it's team effort comic book movies. This boasts impressive visuals, not just the CGI but even shot composition. While it's not quite as fun and irreverent as the first (read my review) due to multiple story lines concerning different aspects of family, it has enough humor to keep the story lines lively. It's got more than a few great scenes, and anything with Baby Groot is a winner.
The soundtrack alone could carry this movie and Kurt Russell is great. It's one of the better Marvel movies.

Trollhunters Season 2 - Tales of Arcadia (December 15)

Netflix Original Series - 13 episodes

This animated series based on Guillermo del Toro's book is about friends who uncover a mystery in their town. Jim, Toby, and Claire are selected to protect humans and the trolls that live underground.
Mark Hamill, Lena Headey & David Bradley join the cast for season two.

Ultimate Beastmaster Season 2 (December 15) 

Netflix Original Series - 10 episodes

In this reality series produced by Sylvester Stallone, two competitors attempt to conquer an obstacle course known as "The Beast."
From six different countries, 108 challengers will compete to become the Ultimate Beastmasters.

Travelers Season 2 (December 26) - Excludes Canada

Netflix Exclusive Series

This sci-fi series stars Eric McCormack as FBI Special Agent Grant MacLaren. Technology exists to send a person's consciousness back to the 21st century, where they assume a random person's body and identity at the exact moment they die. Teams work secretly to save the world from a terrible future.
