Netflix has a lot of new content for December, listed first is what I plan on checking out.

Roma (December 14)

Netflix Distributed Movie
Written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón, the story chronicles a tumultuous year in the life of a middle-class family in Mexico City in the early 1970s.
Netflix is releasing this in theaters as they are betting this nabs award nominations. Early reviews have been great.

Pine Gap Season 1 (December 7)

Netflix Original Series - 6 episodes

International political thriller set around the shared U.S.-Austrailian intelligence facility at Pine Gap. Aussie and American employees juggle on the job tensions and personal relationships at a joint intelligence facility.
A spy type series sounds like a lot of fun.

Travelers Season 3 (December 14)

Netflix Original Series

Technology exists to send a person's consciousness back to the 21st century, where they assume a random person's body and identity at the exact moment they die. Teams work secretly to save the world from a terrible future.
This series has been a lot of fun, but after season 2 I have to wonder how it continues.
Season 3 will be a Netflix Exclusive  

3Below: Tales of Arcadia Season 1 (December 21)

Netflix Original Animated Series

Guillermo del Toro's  Trollhunters will expand into a trilogy featuring trolls in Trollhunters, wizards in Wizards, and aliens in 3Below.
Two royal teenage aliens and their bodyguard escape a surprise takeover of their home planet by an evil dictator and crash land in Arcadia. They struggle to blend in and adapt to the bizarre world of high school.
Trollhunters is an amazing series with great story telling and amazing moments, I can't wait to see the spin off.

Netflix Original Movie

When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Malorie (Sandra Bullock) flees with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they'll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (December 7)

Netflix Distributed Movie

Directed by Andy Serkis, it's a darker version of "The Jungle Book," based on Rudyard Kipling's classic 19th century tale.
An orphaned boy raised by animals in the jungles of India seizes his destiny while confronting a dangerous enemy and his own human origins.
Benedict Cumberbatch voices Shere Khan, Christian Bale voices Mowgli's friend Bagheera.

Tidelands Season 1 (December 14)

Netflix Original Series - 10 episodes

The supernatural crime drama follows the small fishing village of Orphelin Bay where the body of a local fisherman washes ashore. The protagonist must uncover the town's secrets while she investigates the strange inhabitants, a group of dangerous half-Sirens, half-humans called "Tidelanders."

Diablero Season 1 (December 21)

Netflix Spanish Language Series

This horror fantasy thriller centers around Father Ramiro Ventura, a fallen priest who finds himself seeking the aid of legendary "diablero" or demon hunter Elvis Infante. With the help of Nancy Gama, a modern day superhero, this improbable trio sets in motion a series of events that could determine the fate of mankind.
