In this Spanish language series Carmen, a 19 year old Colombian slave and witch from the 17th century travels in time, with the help of a wizard, to escape being burned at the stake. In present day Cartagena, Carmen starts a new life ... but once a witch, always a witch.This one hour long young adult drama was inspired by the novel Yo, Bruja by Isidora Chacon. Production begins summer 2018. This is Netflix's second Colombian property, after an untitled series about a detective uncovering a secret in the Amazon.
