Black Earth Rising Season 1 (January 25)


Netflix Distributed Series with BBC2
A thriller about the prosecution of international war crimes and the personal, legal and political turmoil it ignites. John Goodman and Chewing Gum creator Michaela Coel have been cast. Set across the UK, Europe, Africa and the US, Kate Ashby (Michaela Coel) was rescued as a young child during the Rwandan genocide and adopted by Eve Ashby (Harriet Walter), a world-class British prosecutor in international criminal law. Kate was raised in Britain and, now in her late 20s, she works as a legal investigator in the law chambers of Michael Ennis (John Goodman). Eve takes a case at the International Criminal Court involving an African militia leader.

Kingdom Season 1 (January 25)

Netflix Korean Language Original Series - 6 episodes
Kingdom is a period zombie thriller series by Kim Seong-hun. It is Netflix's second original series in South Korea .Set during Korea's medieval Joseon dynasty, a crown prince is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious outbreak. The epidemic is zombies.
Reported on July 16, 2018, the series has been renewed for season 2.

Medici: Masters of Florence Season 2 (January 25) - US, UK, Canada, India, Taiwan


Netflix Exclusive Series
This follows the Medici dynasty, set in 15th century Florence, starring Dustin Hoffman as Giovanni di Bicci de' Medici. In season one, Richard Madden from Game of Thrones was the protagonist Cosmo the Elder, who was elected as the head of the Florentine republic and later mysteriously poisoned.
Season 2 will be called Medici: The Magnificent, taking place twenty years after season 1.
A young Lorenzo, the nephew of Richard Madden's character, is forced to take over the family bank, which has been mismanaged by his father. As Lorenzo and his brother try to make Florence a great financial and cultural center, they face off against the Pazzi family, and Pope Sixtus IV.

Polar (January 25)

Based on the Dark Horse Comics graphic novel Polar: Came From the Cold by Victor Santos,  the story centers on The world's top murderer, Duncan Vizla (Mads Mikkelsen), aka The Black Kaiser, is settling into retirement when he's employed against his will. He finds himself back in the game going head to head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced.
Written by Jayson Rothwell and directed by Swedish filmmaker Jonas Åkerlund,Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick, and Matt Lucas also star.
Deadmau5 is a Grammy nominated electronic music artist. This is his first film score.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 4 Part 2 (January 25)
Netflix Original Series - 6 episodes
In this comedy, Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) was rescued from an underground bunker where she was one of many wives to a cult leader (Jon Hamm). In season two, her upbeat attitude helps her brave adversity no matter the circumstance.
It was reported on May 3, 2018 that season 4 is the final season with a possible movie.
