Haters Back Off ends after two seasons. Netflix was banking on Collen Ballinger's Youtube presence to carry the show. It was the first scripted series for a Youtube star. The cancellation would imply it didn't translate. I watched a couple episodes of season 1, and it was one of my least enjoyed Netflix series. You can read my season 1 review.
This is based on Colleen Ballinger's Youtube persona Miranda Sings. Miranda is a terrible singer that doesn't realize it, but thinks she is destined to be a Youtube star. Her uncle wants to manager her, her mother wants to pacify her. and her sister is the only sane character.
In season 2 she's heading to Broadway. Season 2 released October 20, watch the season 2 trailer.
