This is his finest act EVER . What a performance !! . Honestly , when I saw the trailer , one thing regarding which I was a bit disappointed was the casting of Arunoday . I simply could not guess whats the point . But after watching just the first two episodes , my mindset totally changed .
His act is simply as if he is making a proclamation to the movie makers that 'He is not OVER' .
The audience gets easily connected with his character . Infact you even start sympathising with him , even though he is shown as doing a wrong deed for almost 90% of the show . But thats what we call good acting . Is'nt it ?
His dialogue delivery , action , comedy , romance , expressions are too good . The heroism he displays in the last 2-3 episodes definitely gave me some goosebumps specially when he asks , requests , scares Tyagi and his security chief just on a phone call .

VARUN BADOLA as Laxman
Varun Badola does not need any introduction . Every knows what a class player he is . Over the years , through television and films , he has proved his worth regarding how good an actor he is . And Apaharan is not an exception . It is joy to watch him on screen always and the king of script Apaharan had , it made it more joyful . The scenes in which Arunoday and Varun encounter are a real treat for the audience.
Nidhi Singh as Ranju :)
Nidhi SIngh as Ranjana Srivastava , Arunoday on screen wife has done her job pretty well . She provides an really good comic relief . Infact his scenes with Dubeyji (wait for his performance analysis ) are a laugh riot .
She is at her comic best in the last episode .
She also seemed to fit pretty well in the scenes providing moral support to her husband .

Saanand Verma as Dubey JI

Earlier I used to acquaint him as Saxena from Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hai (TV show) . But Dubeyji is far more entertaining .
Saanand is seen doing what he does the best , making the viewers laugh , and he make sure that you even forget to breathe when you are laughing .

- When he gets caught by Arunoday for the first time with Arunoday's wife in the hotel.
- When he goes to buy a mobile for Arunoday and calls the shopkeeper 'Daddy' .
- Scene where he is negotiating with Ranju in his factory , to don't leave him .

Even the rest of the cast is so good that I can make special paras for them and continue on writing , but that would unnecessarily lengthen the article.

Dialogues are too good , awesome and all other goood adjectives , which I can't remember right now . And they became much better when I got to realise that the guy who played Laxman , the security chief , VARUN BADOLA , has written those . What a great talent .
Yes , the dialogues are pretty abusive and might offend a few of the viewers but you ought to agree that they fitted perfectly according to the situations and the background of the show .

Music & Background Score
I don't remember any original music here . But the old hindi songs have been used superbly in the background . It takes the entertainment value of the show to the next big level . Infact I so involved in the show that I never skipped the intro song 'Ee Ee Phansa' , not even in a single episode .
Also the name of the episodes have been inspired from old hindi songs .

Direction
Direction by Sidharthh Sen Gupta deserves a big round of applause . Fabulous Job . He has such a tight grip over the script that it rarely gave the viewer a single chance to yawn . Just saw his grip slipping out of his hands in the last episode . That too because there are a lot of revelations going on ( Even the on-screen constable keeps on saying ,
" Ee Climax to khatam hi ni ho rha hai" .
Still , a brilliant job . I believe that it is more difficult to direct a 5 hour web series than a mere 2 hour movie .

My Opinion
- Apaharan is one of the finest hindi comic thrillers , specially of which I have seen .
- Even Andhadhun was a comic thriller and when I saw it , I was like " Its really difficult to make such a content and we ight have to wait for a long time to see someone competing with it " . And see there it is ..... Apaharan whch you may not find beyond the awesomeness of 'Andhadhun' but it is surely not below that .
- Definitely recommended to those who love watching hindi web shows and also recommended to those who don't like hindi stuff anymore and are running after Netflix.
- Alt Balaji is much more cheaper than netlfix .
- At last I would request Ekta Kapoor to make more of such good content instead of making those shitty crap like Gandi Baat .
- Eagerly waiting for "Apaharan Season - 2" .
