Ricky Gervais reprises his role as clueless David Brent from the U.K.'s most successful comedy The Office. The American The Office is based on the U.K. version. In this mockumentary, he's a traveling salesman that cashes in his pension to chase his dreams with his band Forgone Conclusion.
Directed, written, and produced by Gervais, Brent attempts to find the fame that has forever eluded him. He's hired a band and is taking unpaid leave. David Brent was an endearing if not often offensive character that managed an office.
