2015 Annual MUAHS Guild Awards Winners

Last night they had their award ceremony where Guillermo del Toro was honored with the guild's Distinguished Artisan Award.

The guild didn't spread the wealth as from the five motion picture categories, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Grand Budapest Hotel got 4 (2 each) leaving only one to another movie and the spot was taken by Birdman.

Worth noting is that both Guardians of the Galaxy winners are together Oscar nominees in the Make Up and Hairstyling category and so is Frances Hannon -but not Julie Dartnell- for The Grand Budapest Hotel.  The third Oscar nominee are the artists that I was expecting could win a guild honor but no, Foxcatcher was not honored last night. So the Oscar category is still an open race after these awards.

To learn winners in all categories go official site here, but they are not up yet.  While the guild updates their site check press news here.

Winners are in *BLUE.
